Jake Brewer, CCIM

Scope of Experience:

In his relatively short 15+ years of experience, Jake has already become recognized as a seasoned veteran within the commercial real estate industry, with a track record and reputation that speaks for itself. Over the course of his career Jake has accumulated an extensive client base, ranging from Fortune 500 companies and large corporations, to mid-sized regional companies and individual franchisees. Several of Jake’s clients depend on his expertise beyond the local level, engaging him in a much larger capacity to handle their real estate requirements on both regional and national scales, which has allowed Jake to develop relationships in markets all across the country, further strengthening his reach, knowledge, and capabilities far beyond a local level.

BACKGROUND:

Jake began his commercial real estate career in 2006 working at a commercial mortgage banking firm in Nashville specializing in CMBS debt placement and permanent financing for all CRE property types, sourced through life insurance companies and other large institutional debt sources. After transitioning to a brokerage role with a small boutique firm in 2009, Jake would eventually go on to work for larger global based brokerage firms, serving as a Director with Cushman & Wakefield and as Executive Vice President with Avison Young, consistently being recognized as top producer during his tenure with each respective firm. After having worked within both a corporate brokerage environment and a small boutique brokerage firm setting, Jake went out on his own to launch SmartSite Commercial Real Estate in 2020, with a mission to offer the dedicated service and individual focused attention that a only a small boutique firm can typically offer, while also providing an elite level of proven capabilities, reach, and results on a national scale, offering clients the best of both worlds.

Marghee previously worked for a global brokerage firm as an assistant to principal brokers. Through this experience, she gained valuable knowledge of the ins and outs of the business behind the scenes, overtime she moved into a brokerage role. It was this role that led her to SmartSite.  Marghee has found a niche in helping first time franchisees and business owners find the perfect spot to begin their new ventures.

Background:

Marghee graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a B.S. in Advertising. Her commercial real estate career began in 2017 when she began working for an internationally known brokerage firm, after working in outside sales for a national supply company. Since then, Marghee has continued to expand her knowledge and expertise in the industry. Working alongside Jake, Marghee is excited to keep developing relationships with her growing client base.

David has worked in the real-estate industry since 2005. During his tenure, he has provided realt-estate appraisal and consulting services to the East Tennessee market. David’s extensive experience in commercial property appraisal include retail properties, industrial properties, marinas, residential subdivisions, office building, multi-family properities, commercial & agricultural land, market surveys, eminent domain, right-of-way projects, ligation support/consulting, and feasibility and underwriting for investors.

Background:

David graduated the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a Bachelor of Business and Administration in Logistics and Transportation. He is also a designated member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI). Qualifications for the MAI designation include: education requirements, final comprehensive exam, specialized experience, demonstration report, and conduct in accordance with Appraisal Institute’s Code of Professional Ethics.
